Notifying Victims of Perpetrators’ Release or Escape from Prison

This section provides resources to help victims and their families register to receive notification of custody/prison status changes of perpetrators and to obtain reliable information on criminal case event changes as required by the Victims’ Rights and Restitution Act and the Crime Victims’ Rights Act. Notifications may include notice of a perpetrator’s parole eligibility, board decisions, release to and return from bench warrant, discharge dates, along with many other notices.
